Dayz - Obs - Game capture - 34" 3440X1440 ( 21/9 )

Recommended Posts

Hello.
I come here because I am really stuck and don't know what to do....

I am streaming all games with OBS, all games are working ( I have a shortcut to launch them when streaming )

I tried to do the same with DayZ standalone but no picture at all is displayed... If I try to manually select the game, it does the same.

The game was installed, and I made the manuel change with the .cfg to get the aspect ratio of 21/9 with my 3440x1440 monitor.

So impossible for me to display the game on OBS and therefore impossible for me to stream that game... and I don't understand why.

Can anyone guide me or give me advices, tips, internet links that could help me to solve the problem ? Because I really don't know why it is doing that...

Thanks.

You most likely messed something up when editing the .cfg

Did you make a backup? If not, try deleting it.

If it's the native resolution of your monitor, you will most likely be able to set it in the ingame-settings - no need to edit the .cfg

I found the solution.

Can be useful to others  :

Make sure you enable anti-cheat compatibility in the game capture source.

As soon as you do that, the shortkey is working to display the game with obs...

Logged into say I found this answer on Google, and it works. Enabling the anti-cheat compatibility is what got my game working in OBS again.

Thanks so much!
