Laynes 0 Posted February 5, 2015 I have played DayZ perfectly for a long time, then I have stopped playing for a month, I came back and my character reset and such. I started playing then I run for 20-30 seconds then I freeze. I hear audio of the birds and stuff in the background, but I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL everytime it freezes, the memory also raises a lot to about 800,000. Any suggestions to fix this problem? Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted February 5, 2015 Have you gone into steam and verified your files? I had some weird crap happen a few weeks ago where all police stations looked like cartoons and I couldn't enter them. On a whim I found and tried the verify files option through steam and it found 2 that were out of date or not updated (whatever) and fixed them, which totally resolved my issue.
