How to run as admin?

A couple of my TS3 buddies told me to, run as admin.

But on any steam game, when you right click it. there is no run as admin option?

Anyone know what to do?

Is your *computer user account* an admin? If not, set it to that and it should allow you to have access.

Right click "DayZ.exe" in c;\program files\steam\steamapps\common\DayZ, and select run as administrator. If that fixes the issue then go to properties and tick "always run as administrator"

Navigate to program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/DayZ

 

Right-click the Dayz .exe file and select properties > compatibility > privilege level > run this program as an administrator

I had the same Happening.

 

Rather odd id say since i only have one Profile anyways. Weird..i wonder what caused this.

For me running the dayzBE.exe file as admin worked. I tried running the dayz file as admin and that got me into the start up but not into any servers It seems battle eye is having problems?
