Help! I'm too stupid to light a fire...

Hi guys

 

I've crafted a fireplace kit with a rag and a wooden stick, then placed 5 wooden sticks as fuel and tried to light it with matches. The usual procedure...

Only, I don't get the option to ignite the fireplace with my matches in hand in .53...

 

Did something change with this mechanic, or am I doing something wrong?

 

EDIT: Never mind, works as usual, just took a few minutes, after placing the fire, until the option became available. Seems to be a performance issue with the server.

OK, Also I noticed you will get an error if you try it on a slope.

I've had issues with this as well - it seems to be a bit more finicky than before.

Have you tried chopping down a tree and using a log as fuel?
