Can't get to Main Menu

Hello,

 

Everytime I launch Dayz from steam it lauches, but the resolution is set to a resoluton i can't even read. It makes it to a loading screen and it says wait a moment in the top right corner. I have waited 2+ hours waiting for the screen to switch to the Main Menu but it hasn't.

 

I have already tried setting the resolution to 1600 * 900 (My default resolution) in the dayz.config but it doesn't ever change the resolution in game.

 

if you have any ideas on how to fix this i would grealty appreciate it.
