Issues launching and joining a server.

Hi, I am having difficulty lanching and playing vanilla DayZ (using steam). I have installed DayZ commander and it tells me all the game installations are up to date. I join a vanilla DayZ server from the list, one which has a white font colour, not grey, and DayZ launches. During ARMA's tickbox launch window, one box is ticked then the game returns the error:

"!!! MISSING STRING !!!"

I close this and the launch continues. Still on one tickbox and the game returns:

"Application load error 5:0000065434"

It returns this twice. I close these and the launch continues. 8 tickboxes in, and the game returns:

"Failed to load file: E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\air_d_baf.pbo - decryption of headers failed." (Please don't judge on the insanely long steam path :/ )

Finally, DayZ starts in windowed mode despite the fact I have it set to fullscreen and I am  immediately  kicked from the server, last time I managed to catch something about versions in the chat in the split second before I was kicked.

Verifying integrity of ARMA II, Operation Arrrowhead and DayZ doesn't solve any of these problems.

If you want to play Vanilla DayZ you don't need DayZCommander anymore.

 

DayZCommander is out of date and doesn't work anymore. Just use Steam and the ingame Multiplayer-Browser. Works just fine.

EDIT: Will this fix all the mentioned errors? If not, will they significantly effect gameplay or will they just mean some random, likely unnoticeable texture won't load?

 

EDIT #2: When I launch the game in steam, the game returns all the mentioned errors then blackscreens for a couple of minutes before telling me it can't load the chernarus.wrp file.

 

EDIT #3: (Last Thing) When presented with the option in steam, should I play with the beta patch or the normal game?
