haydenchamberlain128 0 Posted January 28, 2015 hi hoping you can help mei just bought the game dayz and after it installed i clicked on it and it said would you like to use battleye and veiw the eula now? said yes.. then page came up and at bottom said do you accept all terms of battleye eula? said yes.. then my user account control came up and said do you want to allow following programs to make changes to your computer (battleye launcher) said yes... then cmd window came up sayinginstalling battleye servicefailed to install battleye servicethen it closes.i dont know wat to do. plz help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AmberHelios 2071 Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) Hello, there can be many causes and fixes for this,try temporarily disabling and antivirus and firewall you have running and try launching again,run steam as administrator and revalidating your files and relaunchingtry to maunually installing http://www.battleye.com/download.html and relaunchgo to C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\DayZ\ and delete the battleye folder in here and relaunch (appdata is a hidden folder in your user directory you can get there by typing %localappdata% in your search or address bar)sorry i am on a phone these are most common fixes, try these and get report back Rgds AH Edited January 28, 2015 by AmberHelios 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

franzuu 211 Posted January 28, 2015 You could try disabling UAC for the install, then turn it back on. What once happened to me is that I allowed something through UAC but the process got snagged on something and failed with no error messages. Just didn't work.
