Experimental won't launch via steam

So I wanted to try the new (0.53) experimental build.

 

So after downloading the patch I try to launch the game.

"Preparing to launch DayZ" appears on screen I get a little blue circle to indicate my PC is doing something, it stops and no game appears.

I verify integrity of game cache

I try launching steam as administrator

I try launching DayZ as administrator

I've jump back and forth from stable to experimental about 10 times

Still nothing.

So I try launching the game via the .exe file found in the DayZ folder where I then get a error message stating that a dll file is missing from my PC.

 

Note that I can play stable with no problems at all and I've made a post on the feedback tracker but while I wait for a response from their (will probably be Monday before I hear back) I'm hoping someone here might have a few ideas to try.

Did you try installing VC redist 2013 as per Eugen's tweet?

Indeed I did and I've still had no luck.

No offence bud but I don't trust downloading dll files from another website, if the devs or forum admin here can get the dll file then I'd download it
