DayZ drinks my internet connection

Hey all.

I am having a strange problem.. when I click refresh on DayZ servers it stops searching for random servers and my internet connection goes very slow for about 5 minutes.

 

Could this be a firewall problem maybe?

I have a friend who ocasionally plays dayz. When he plays on a server with more than 20 people on, he always loses internet connection.
Maybe the same problem? His internet is pretty good, he can download at 10 mb/s and play other multiplayer games easily.

If you open your internet browser, is your internet connection also slow?

Yeah internet is still online but goes slow when I open up a web browser telling me my internet connection is slow.

I am playing on 50 man servers and I am fine, no lagg. Internet connection goes really slow for 5mins ish when I refresh servers on the DayZ server page.
