Firesplit 0 Posted January 18, 2015 I have problem with brightness/gamma changing randomly outdoors and indoors. If I look in one direction it gets bright and if I look in the other it gets really dark. It happens even indoors. I have MSI R9 280 GPU (with latest stable drivers) and I tried to change almost every settings in the game (HDR, disabled clouds, etc...) without any significant change to my problem. The pictures here are indoors...outdoors the difference is not so high, but still very abnormal. Thanks for any help http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/544141213072207794/39B2E8CB5CC8AF49BCA7837747C6918A309F47F7/ http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/544141213072204700/6F65A75B48DC87B4A3247D6A96763460DE0A1AC6/
kichilron 8550 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) I have problem with brightness/gamma changing randomly outdoors and indoors. If I look in one direction it gets bright and if I look in the other it gets really dark. It happens even indoors. This is by design. It's there to make it seem real. Though the implementation isn't the best, making it seem too dark at times, I think it's a neat idea. If you look into the sun and then somewhere else you will see that everything else seems darker, as your eyes have adjusted. The reason it happens indoors is because it currently doesn't make a difference. Expect that to change with the new renderer. FrostyKush 44 Posted January 18, 2015 Turn off the post process effects option in game, should remove this plus give a small performance increase.
