What means "VON is eneabled on this server"?

i noticed the server message "VON is enabled omn this server" and iam wondering wat this means?

So can anyone give me a hint was VON is?

Direct Coms for face to face, and two other modes Vehicle and Group with VON

VON = Voice Over Network.

It means you can use the hotkey to chat to people over the internet on the server without use of a third party software like Ventrilo, TS3, etc etc.

The default hotkey is Caps Lock.

Walk into a town and try it you'll hear people talking back.

Should also add that you change your text and voice chat channel with the , and . keys. For DayZ, make sure you're set to direct. Your voice will travel 40m from your position to anyone around with 3d positional audio as well. I.E., if you hear the guy's voice behind you, he really is behind you.
