The amount of people who don't know their calibers is too damn high also since 0.49 they no longer spawn inside homes or residential areas, only light military, such as the UAZ wrecks, police stations and the other military buildings (ATC, Jail).I have found 7.62x39 in the back of pick up trucks in junkyards and on the floors and shelves in garages (not the storage sheds, I mean the large, 3 bay garages) of all varieties, from the 5 round box magazine for the 527, to the 10round strip clip for the SKS, also loose and in boxes. Is this the case for both types of helis or just US ones ? Edit: ok, my, bad, i just checked the server and noticed the persistance isn't on anymore.That would explain it.Again, sorry for false info. We are all wrong at some stage dude! Don't worry about it, especially when the game is constantly changing, it's hard to keep up. Just found 12 heli's sites over the weekend between myself and two other buddies and not one single M4. This is the only reason I started carrying an SKS again. For a while you could only find it in military areas, but since maintenance last week I have been finding it all over. However, they're really rare - which they shouldn't be because there is plenty of soviet guns lying around the map which take the same caliber. My point was that 7.62x39 needs to be more common, as common as 7.62x51, in regards to where it spawns, around Chernarus.
