Campfire questions x2

Recommended Posts

A couple of questions I was wondering about.

1- Does sitting too close to a campfire damage your clothing?

2- I set up a campfire in a shed at night with both doors closed, warmed up then wondered just how much light was visible from outside.

I went outside, shut the door behind me and got the shock of my life! I had been sitting in the shed thinking being indoors would shield most of the light but the light was      glowing off everything like there where no walls at all.  The whole surrounding area was lit up lol.

Is this currently normal? (obviously something dev's need to fix in the future if it is)

1. I don't think so, but clothes should suffer burn damage when held too close to fire.

2. It's a known issue, but we'll have to see when they get around to fixing it.

1. Close, no it's fine. But if you're on the fire, you're clothes go ruined. - Including the stuff inside ofcourse - You even get the message: "My face is burning.", or something like that.

I think the lighting effects are something that the devs talk about fairly often - I'm not in the least bit worried that things like this won't get fixed in due time.

The clothing degradation is pretty far from being authentic, I agree! But again, I think we'll see improvements somewhere down the line - I don't get the impression that it's as prominent in the devs' thinking at this point, though.
