Need help, related to big military tents.

I just found a big military tent. Every Wednesday when they do maintenance I have to pack up my tent? But you can't pack it up with stuff in it, so what happens? Do you just lose the contents of the tent via dumping them out but keep the tent itself by putting it on as a backpack prior to  the maintenance? I know these tents aren't that common so I really want to make the most of what I have found.

u have to pick the tent up. its not meant for hording all ur stuff atm.

Yea unfortunately they are still unfinished and this maintenance cycle is to clean up all the craziness around every week so you have to pick and choose what gear you wanna save ..

Be careful I couldn't even repack my military tent when i had pitched it (nothing in it , and nothing was ever put into it) maybe it was just a glitch for me , anyone else care to chime in as to say if they could repack their military tent without issue ?

Can confirm with backpacks at least, which are meant to be persistent like tents, that they get wiped on the maintenance (at least sometimes).

 

Was on a private shard, had a couple backpacks stashed. I had three protector cases in there along with a tonne of food etc. Went down for a cigarette, planning on grabbing the cases before the reset just in case (ahahaha - terrible pun). Got back three minutes before the maintenance was scheduled, server was gone.

 

I lost some lovely stuff that day. I know 99% that it wasn't taken because I'd hidden them incredibly well in a very low traffic area (but not somewhere that people would be hunting) and had been the only one on the server at that time in the early morning. You'd have to literally be searching every possible place to find them - they were completely hidden from every angle and would have to be tabbed to be found (can I just say that I love the fact you can't lie down on slopes?).
