monitor wont show game just keeps saying input not support

can someone help please , my monitor keeps saying input not support before I even get to play the game, I have tried updating graphic card and changing resolutions on the computer and monitor , but nothing is working ,

The game is probably set at a resolution your display doesn't support. When you launch the game can you press alt+enter to go into windowed mode, alternatively add -window to your DayZ launch parameters,

 

Right click DayZ on steam > Properties > Set Launch Options

If that works you can then configure the settings to fit your resolution.

 

Alternatively, you can manually set the resolution in the config file located at

C:\Users\SmashT\Documents\DayZ\DayZ.cfg

 

You will need to change the values of Resolution_W, Resolution_H, Render_W and Render_H to match your own display settings:

 

Resolution_W=2560;

Resolution_H=1080;

Render_W=2560;

Render_H=1080;
