What I would like to see with the new engine

So as we all know DayZ devs are trying to make a better engine for the game. What I would like to see immediatly after the update that will upgrade the lightning and flashlights won't flash through walls. And a server change. There should be no 24/7 day servers at all. There should be cycles of day and night cause that's how real world works.

The flashlights not shining through walls is a must, indeed.

The no 24/7 daylight servers would be wonderfull. But the main problem is that people will always have a choice of playing on a daylight server.
People are playing from all over the world. You cannot force a certain timezone to always play at night.

FYI, your suggestion has been made already. (But I'm not going to take your task to search the topic.)

Sorry for the mistakes I've made. Ofcourse there shouldn't be a forced timezone stuff. Therefore there could be cycles that change through short ammount of time like 1h or 45minutes till the cycle change.

That's true. Some sort of minecraft like system, but way slower ofcourse.

Even 45 minutes is too fast. Three hours seems more than appropriate.

Although I do like the idea of a server that is running realtime with the worlds clock. Reminds me of pokémon, on the gameboy :@.

Yep. But if you're a working man/woman you would be doomed to play only at night time during the work days.

Actually you wouldn't if there is a 3 hour cycle that ALL servers connected to the main hive follow then everyone gets a fair chance of playing day and night. The game is experienced from both perspectives by everyone and people will not server hop for daylight. I believe this idea MUST happen. Seems wrong to experience only half the game.
