When will we see this game shift more towards survival?

Recommended Posts

Currently, hunting, fishing, and growing crops is easy enough to do. All you need to do is gather all the individual materials and DO it. However, the problem is that doing so requires you to fill you inventory with those things needed, and therefore forego carrying other things. This is due to two things. The first, is the arbitrary (IMO) inventory system that unrealistically represents the size of certain items. The second, is that persistence is still a work in progress.

Once persistence is finished, we will be able to RELIABLY store our extra stuff in a tent, thereby allowing us to carry what we need, and store what we don't need RIGHT NOW until we do need it, instead of dropping it after we are done with it, only to have to go and find a replacement when we need it again later (or storing it in a tent that WILL get deleted every Wednesday, or might get deleted after a crash or just because).

I imagine that it will happen sometime in beta, after the core game, and persistence, is finished.

Im a casual but i like soloing old dungeons, earning achievements, grinding for mounts, toys, battle pets, doing raid finder raids, etc. PLENTY of shit to keep you busy and entertained.

How does one casually grind for mounts? I'm a casual. Bahaha you like wow. So did I. Own that shit, dawg.

EVE Online was, and still is, a FAR superior MMO. Suck it.
