Slots and size of items

Recommended Posts

So the idea is simply that I want everything to take up more space in your for exaple backpacks. This would prevent everyone from running around with so muck loot that they never need to loot again in a long while, and there for the game becomes boring. Here is an example for the Taloon Backpack :

it was made in pain so it's not the greatest looking thing. Maybe, if the items takes up more space, the backpacks could get a little more slots, but very few.

If you have an other idea that could be better. Be my guest and comment it!

They should just copy Arma 3 and H1Z1 and add a weight/size based inventory system. This "tetris" inventory system is outdated and pretty horrible for a survival game.

If you're shot or hit and the bag/pocket the ammo is stored in is damaged or ruined, so too will the ammo box. However, you can still remove perfectly useful, non-ruined ammunition from a ruined box.

I think backpacks should carry MORE to be honest.

I mean, If you've ever used a backpack in real life, you'd notice that it's pretty easy to fit 4 different sets of clothing (shirt and pants) inside a backpack with enough spare room to squeeze in smaller items like can openers or cans themselves. I think it should be based on a weight system rather than slots in my opinion.

I agree about the clothes taking up more space than they should, but if they reduce the space they take up, they should also make it impossible to carry items inside. Or give us the choice between folding the clothes or not.
