Nooby questions and annoying rants inc.

Might be in wrong forums i guess..

1. Call me old fashion, but for me "no-cd key" implies illegal copy, hence not trust worthy servers.

- There goes 5-10 servers from my server list due having it in there desc. Who knows what kind of crap they do on those servers.

2. Since this is alpha, using latest patch is a req. atleast thats how I see it.

- Another 10~ servers goes due to old DayZ or Arma2 beta files.

3. Locked clan servers? Wtf

-filters unknown amount

4. Joining a allmost empty server for a chance to gain gear and avoid massmurderers... Admin was online=kicked even before loading was complete.

5. Simple question... Impossible to filter out of date servers?

Feel free to correct me if im wrong/missunderstood something, and btw, joining only green pinged servers, so kicked due to ping is not it.

Your assumptions are correct from what I can tell.

I usually filter by the latest dayz patch. Click "Filter" at the bottom of server browser. In the first open area input the latest dayz patch number, currently 1.7.1.5 and click "ok".

Most servers have the Arma2 beta number they are running in the server name, but even then sometimes that is wrong. Check in the lower right of the server browser to see what arma2 beta patch they are running before hitting connect. There are 2 boxes in lower right of the server browser with version numbers. The top one will be 1.60. The bottom one will show what beta version they are running, ie 1.60.93825, 1.60.94205, etc.

Hope this helped some.
