Let's Have A Friendly Day in DayZ Standalone Community!

What if we could make one day mark on a calendar and call it The Friendly DayZ Community Friendly Day or something, so everyone is friendly on that day, at least once a year? Maybe like in December before Christmas? No KOS, No PVP, No Killing Another Player, Just Be Friendly, at least one day per year. It would be fun Chernarus party! Imagine all the people! :)

i suport your idea 100% but i dont tink is possibel to make evry player agreeing dont shot other persons some player wwill say 'hey is great idea i like dont worry i coming to prty in elektro no shot' but after they see many happy player dance with chemlight and look the book around the fire temtations is coming too much strong and they will do a mass murder of frendly persons but why you dont try to do a campain about frendly day example say evry december 29 is no shot the persons day and maybe some other player agree is becom like tradition in dayz and evry year is hapen but also willbe trouble wen bandits try to come and shot evryone

 

good luck for you i hope is hapen but plese dont felt sad if your drem dont coming true

yes there always will be the party poopers no matter what holiday or party or celebration it is...but I think most people will embrace it, except some immature kids ruining it like the grumpy scrooge humbug...but if we truly love DayZ we can do it. We shouldn't give up, just because of handful of party poopers. It takes patience and persistence. Some other holidays didn't come about easily, it took time for them to become a date on a calendar. We just need to reach more people. Maybe devs can decide and announce it on Steam and other media sources. It's all about marketing.

It might help to open new perspectives, new approach, and a random kos bandit might become a friendly player. It will encourage a lot of good things and contribution to DayZ SA. It will help DayZ be even more popular and be on top of other games. It's a unique community. What worse thing can happen? It helps and brings more cool thing into the Community then doing a harm.

Could see an event like this possible on private hive community servers. People can't be enforced like that on a scale as big as the DayZ playerbase, though.

 

I know for a fact that people tend to be nicer towards the holidays though, I myself practise those arts and it's always nice to see a fellow survivor who only wants to cheerish the festivities. :D

Instead, why not assemble a group of people with pilotka caps and Mosins and commit to a total war and cleanse the countryside of the bandit scum, killing the men and work animals, burning the crops and homes, and claiming the women as our wives. That sounds like a STR0NK Christmas to me.

Hey I really like this Idea. I rent a server and would gladly appreciate spending a few hours with random players in electro. We could exchange gear, have a meal with peppers, tomatoes and pumpkins, and just have a hell of a fun time. It is a small server with it only being 30 pop, but it would still be a hell of a good time to meet new players in game.

I'm on board with this idea.  I like it!  In fact, I can't help but think of the scene from the movie Rocky II, where he is running down the street, and gradually, more and more people start running down the street together as the group passes by.

I wish we could have a day like that. Imagine All The People, no KOS, no robbing, etc. It would be a nice Holiday for DayZ Community to celebrate the game. Maybe it can be the day when DayZ Standalone was born? Was it born in December 2013? Anyone remember?
