Spawning in open fields

Every time i will join a server i spawn on a huge open filed with nothing just ground... i cant shot but still have all my inventory. what is the deal?

You're in the debug plains.

You may or may not be stuck there, and you may be any distance away from the westernmost border of the map - I've had to run 18km to get back, but I've also had to run 2km to get back.

I think it all just depends on your luck. My friend is also stuck there atm even after 2-3 respawns, he just keeps spawning back in the debug plains endlessly.

Verify your A2 & OA game installation and the mod files as well as your beta installation of ARMA 2. I'd suggest deleting everything in the /expansion/beta folder and in the @dayZ folder, redownloading and reinstalling the files. For me it worked to get me out of the fields.
