my in game name is Hairy_eyeball

so i was in svet as a new character and i had taken down a few zombies but had gotten a fractured arm in the process and couldnt find enough food to restore health. i ended up wandering past the police department and into the residential area and was looting a garage when i heard eating. i came out with my bat out in case i had a chance to defend myself. (note: i always try to help people out but i dont take the chance they will shoot first loot later) and saw not one, but two guys fully decked out in gear and one with a rifle, i put my bat away and waited for them to see me. after crossing my fingers and praying for a miracle they didnt shoot me on sight and talked with me for a few moments ensuring i wasnt gonna do anything stupid. they asked if i needed anything and i told them a splint or morphene and they gave me a splint! after wishing each other good luck we parted ways and i was able to get out of there and get to NE airfield where i found enough food to keep me alive for the time being. i wish i could thank those guys more than i did and i hope this trend of helping each other out continues. good luck out there where ever you are and keep fighting the good fight!
