Dayz How Survival Day Counter Wroks?

I was wondering if the survival day counter worked on amount of hours played in-game or does a day pass every 24-hour?

Yeah, I posted that question too. I am waiting a reply for it though, hopefully someone will reply in one of ours. (Always best to see if you're question you are about to ask is already up there or not!).

I believe its the amount of hours played in game before a day is over in the server. I definitely haven't put 72 hours into my character but as a casual gamer I'll put in 2-4 hours a day and find my Days Lived rise.

Agree with Zoris here. Lately I've only been able to play 2-5 hours in a session (used to be 6-12 damn work). Each day (irl) I log in, I find my days increased by one. Currently on day 17 and rising.
