What do I do now?

So yesterday I managed to get an ATV and have a FAL NV, FAL, M249, M1014 and an AKM.

Got 3 jerrycans full of fuel and all the equipment I need (no NV or GPS though). Also got enough meds to last a lifetime.

This is the best I have ever done in the game and now I'm not sure what do to. Just drive around a player kill?

I could drive around looking for crashed helicopters but I have enough stuff for a small army already.

My RL friends are sick of DayZ and no longer play it so I am solo.

What do I do? Hunt clans at the airfields? Drive thru Cherno beeping my horn?

Honestly, I'd really love more meaningful lategame content in DayZ as well, but you kind of have to excuse an alpha game for not having a well established late game. I hope it's not neglected forever, but, currently, I think there are MUCH more pressing issues.

Join a group to play with, make you own bandit team, blow up buildings with satchel charges, crash land a helicopter in a full server in Elektro or Cherno and see how people react to it. Get a Sniper and own people. (Not anything else which I can think off).

Find survivors and try to befriend them instead of killing them. Watching a community you've created grow is completely amazing and having more friends in a server ( lets say 10 ) increases your survival chances through the roof.

Drive down the coast and pickup/meet survivors ^^

Ya patrolling the coast picking off bandits is best I've come up with. Won't work on servers with kill msgs turned off tho.

You can do what you want, the only limit is your own imagination.

Maybe you can make it your goal to find a NV or GPS, because you don't have them yet.

Or you can make it your goal to use your ATV to drive to a far point on the map, and then back to your camp again. And survive.

You get the picture, there are many things you can 'play', it's a sandbox game. Make it 'interesting' by setting your own ingame goals. I hope you'll find something good to do and have a great adventure doing it. Good luck to you!

Take over the industrial sector of Cherno and gank people running round with flashlights.

You're right next to a firestation, supermarket and medical tents. No need to go anywhere else.

I believe in any multiplayer game, you really need friends for it to be fun, otherwise theres only so many hours of replayability before you get bored.

Ideally I would like to run along the coast providing some aid to new survivors. A bit of cooked meat here, a Winchester there.

Unfortunately I won't do this as I'd most likely get a Makarov round to the head. I wouldn't blame them either.

I'm going to keep my ATV hidden in the hope of a few RL friends coming back to DayZ. Maybe a M249 will persuade them?

Think for now I'll stash the ATV and make a long walk to Cherno/Electro and try a hunt some bandits with the FAL NV.
