So i have been looking for a smersh vest for a while now and i want to know if they are spawning with smersh backpack or only on heli crash ?

The smersh vest spawns at heli crashes only, backpack will spawn at military loot spawn points.

The smersh vest is a pretty rare item. Average probability to find one is 1/55 source here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/216080-helicopter-crash-sites-guide

No, it makes more sense for the UK assault vest to spawn. CDF are much like Ukrainian national guard, they use a blend of used NATO gear and Soviet weapons and hardware.
