Texture problems

Hey guys ever since i have been playing dayz mod for arma 2 oa i have had texture bugs filling my screen and making it unplayable and if i tweak the settings SOME dissapear but some come back and flood my screen. I really dont know what to do ive verified ive tried different settings. Please can someone help me.

I'm not 100% sure but this looks like your GPU can't handle the game and gets too hot so you get these artifacts. You can google for GPU temperature recording programs and see how hot it gets when you play. Of course it never hurts to lift off your PC's lid and blow off dust from fans etc, might solve it. If heat is the culprit.

For how long do you have those problems? Only after 1.8.3 or on 1.8.2 too?

Good point with the GPU temp, always worth keeping an eye on those (the tool Speedfan shows all temps)

Hey thanks for replying. But the thing is though is that my friend has the exact same specs as me and he does not get these problems. Any other ideas?

If thats so about the fans i could have a try my old pc had that problem but never tweaked with my game.

It is it says up to date my settings are on mid to low. Also i dont play the original dayz mod im always on the Epoch

Epoch is a seperate mod and not an addon to the mod. Updates made in DayZ Mod do NOT automatically apply to Epoch unless the Epoch devs integrate them manually.

You have to ask there or at least confirm that you have the problems in vanilla DayZ Mod too.

if i join a vanilla dayz server it says im missing loads of files. Over night i reinstalled and they are worse.
