Game freeze and total crash short after.

So, i didn't play for some time, updated the game and now it won't run anymore.

 

I haven't seen anything like this ever.

 

I start the game which takes really lonng now, join a server. All fine, runs OK, but not nearly as smoth as it used to be.

 

After a few minutes or even seconds the game just stops, like it's frozen, sound keeps going, can still hear people talk etc.

 

When i now go back to desktop and then back in it unfreezes and i can play on for a short time, until it stops working again. But this time it completely wrecks my PC, sometimes DAYZ crashes after a while, but most of the time i have to reset my PC because it won't respond.

 

I have updated my drivers, didn't solve the issue.

Do you have a launch parameter like maxMem set?

I am having the same issue where the game crashes after 10 seconds.

I think you should report that issue to the feedback tracker. But set the -dologs launch parameter first so you will get a crashlog to attatch to your ticket.

Ok i've fixed it, went to my steamlibrary, check for damaged files.

One file was damaged, downloaded 15mb and now it works again.

 

Weird, because i had reinstalled the whole game twice already.

 

FPS are still lower than usual, but from what i read it's more or less patch related.
