How to get out of debug wilderness/open fields

Recommended Posts

Go to the server "dayz - canada 2"

For some reason this server is magic and will always take you from the fields to the debug forest.

Still sucks you ended up all the way out there, but at least you can get back to the game with all of your stuff. just run east, you're no more than 15 mins from pavlovo.

You linked a thread to a thread that already explains how to?

going to canada 2 or 1 is fine, because they have the bug where your food and water replenish when you log out. I would suggest that you carry three waters and foods at all times, especially when you get a ghillie suit for the first time. happened to me the other day, june 29th. and it took me almost 3 hours of running East South East. I ended up in Lopatino. You can also go to a recruit server if you have a map and compass to see where you are on the map, but that only seemed to work once i got within 3 map squareed sections from town.

You linked a thread to a thread that already explains how to?

old thread for an older version, and the title wasn't as descriptive of the situation. Didn't show up in searches for common lines applied to the situation of being spawned in those fields.

Felt a new thread with a better title would've been more appropriate than tagging onto a thread that hadn't been touched in a while and was burried deep in the forum.

It worked, kind of.

Good news: I got put in the debug forest.

Bad news: Someone was camping there and I was greeted to a head shot.
