DayZ Won't Launch when system requirements are met

I need help.

 

DayZ updated to the car update so I updated DayZ. Before this, DayZ was running perfectly fine with no lag and their was no problems at all. When the update finished, I wanted to launch it (through steam) by pressing play. When I did, nothing happens. So I kept clicking it and again: nothing. I then did the following:

 

- Restarted Steam

- Logged out then logged back in

- Restarted computer

- Checked system requirements about 10 times and made sure they were met, and in fact were all above the recommended requirements

- Re installed DayZ 2 times no such luck

 

I looked up anything to fix this with no such luck and now hoping someone can help me with this post. Thank you.

Did BattlEye update or have you not reached that stage ?

 

Might be worth checking My Docs / DayZ name DAYZPROFILE to ensure you have this line :

 

battleyeLicense=1;

 

It can be found a few lines above...(80% down).

lastMPServer= "*************";
lastMPServerName="[********]

Also, if you have launch parameters set, remove them.

Thank you Bean King, I had set a launch option and when I removed that, it fixed my problem. Thank you so much!
