Glad for progress.

Recommended Posts

After a long break (played a couple of months since the standalone came out, then only hopped in very occasionally) i decided to hop in again and see where things are at.

Died thrice last night. 10/10 excited to play again. The game is really starting to feel like a challenge. First i died from hunger and thirst, couldn't remember the fountain locations and i've learned to not look at the map anymore for more fun. Everything was looted, no food for me.

Then i died from sickness due to eating some shady berries (that was unexpected, pretty cool!)

Last i died from underestimating the new zombies. Man these bastards are agressive now. I've learned to run instead of facing 4 with a shovel.

Anyway, i'm glad to see more progress. I've known there was always progress, since i read the patch notes, but the game actually feels different now.

Can't wait to be done with work and try anew.

What's the point of this post, you ask? Just venting my appreciation for what the devs are doing.

(To go back to the map thing, if new players read this: don't look at the online map. It makes the game way too easy.)

Yeah it is hard to resist the lure of the online map.

Its why I always try and create the in game map asap.

I'm not even using the in-game maps at the moment. Not knowing what's ahead makes the game much more exciting. I got to know the whole map because i looked online, but since they're adding new places i can explore again. It makes me wonder what the ultimate map is going to be. A whole new added province with cities and villages maybe? It'd be very cool.
