anddos 37 Posted December 1, 2014 You know like you can write on paper and leave notes around, well has anyone made like a path of notes that said, head north there you will find the next note, and you lead them on a path to where there rewarded or murdered after they have followed the path of directions in the notes, i am tempted todo it and watch a bambie follow my instructions from where the first instruction will be set on the coast on the road and the next will be heading in to the forrest etc, it could be really fun

leviski 2152 Posted December 1, 2014 If I found a string of notes to follow, yes id try it. but the thing is, persistence seems to always f*ck up, and I think I have only ever found one note in my adventures. Would be funny to do however, just might not work in the current state of dayz
anddos 37 Posted December 1, 2014 i guess you need to do it at the start of a server reboot with all the peices of paper already collected in order to get some time todo something decent

I keep a pen on me and fill out pages every time I find paper and then leave it behind in an obvious place. I check the forums, but never heard of anyone finding one of em. call him Steve 46 Posted December 1, 2014 I tried to read every note and nothing was ever, ever on them. So now they are ignored totally, but I do like the idea of a scavenger hunt.
comikz 218 Posted December 1, 2014 I typically ignore paper, unless it's in an area where it wouldn't normally be, such as a road or path in the woods, other players will most likely ignore them completely because you can't load it with ammo and shoot people with it. I have been reading almost all pieces of papers I found, too. Nothing was ever written on them.
Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted December 1, 2014 I would do the following:Leave a note on 1st floor of police station stating, "A quest is at hand! Head to the 2nd floor and read the note you find for more info." Leave a note on the 2nd floor of police station stating, "A quest is at hand!
