Question to Rocket....

After watching your live stream interview I felt I needed to bring this question up in regards to zombies.

Are DayZ zombies, walking dead or living infected? I feel this is very fundamental to making suggestions about zeds as they have 2 very different mechanics in regards to the way they act and are disposed of.

I want them to be walking dead. It would suit Day-Z more, IMO. I dont know how I just think the walking dead that can only die from a headshot would be awesome.

Considering how they die at the moment, and some form of realism, I'd suggest we keep it to "living infected".

I have to agree, Walking Dead, Romero style zombies are more my flavor of zombie. But after seeing Rockets interview it seems he favored a 28 days later, Left4Dead style infected zombie.

I just wanted some clarity in regards to what DayZ was trying to achieve in regards to zombies.

walking dead zombies make way more sense but they shouldn't be able to climb ladder and open doors and walk through walls.

Wow someone has a rat up his ass. The question is pertaining to suggestions, a pretty fundamental question which would affect how people of the community make suggestions in regards to the zombies in this mod.

Did you ever take into account that if the question is answered then there would be a follow up suggestion? No you didn't because you're too anal to realize that.

You are right about bumping your thread, and I am glad it pleases you. It works out fine for me too, every time I post somewhere a couple of people take a look at the suggestions in my sig. You know, actual suggestions.
