Absolutely nothing in the wiki and can't seem to find much info on 'em elsewhere. What's the dealio?

I don't think they are meant to be in dayZ. Don't think you can find them in loot piles anywhere normally. Probably spawned in by a hacker

use them to blow something to hell. Use them for fun, not to advance in the game that would be as if you hacked them in yourself ;)

yes, they are in the game, they spawn in the barracks, and the chances of finding them are the same as finding nvgs. So very rare.

Yes, I did actually find a Satchel charge. Their spawn rate is 0.11% (Same as NVGs, GPS, Rangefinder, etc..)

Some places calls them Pipe bombs (In the description of the item it appears Pipe Bomb) Hopefully that answered your question ;)

They are legitimate.

I've never seen one, but there are many things I have yet to see.

NVG, GPS, Rangefinder, many guns...I only found the coyote backpack last week.

Thank you sir! That does help quite a bit. Surprised to see that there is still nothing on the unofficial wiki on them. I even now tried looking up pipe bombs and still nothing. And I had always been wondering what the pipe bombs were the www.dayzdb.com site had in its loot table.

If you google search for a bit you can eventually find a post by Rocket saying that they are indeed in the game and spawn in the barracks. The wiki is not official and everything on there is not necessarily true or any indication of what items are in the game or not.
