Does anyone know how to fix this bug? (invisible ground & player)

Recommended Posts

I'm getting this really weird bug right now. The ground is invisible and so is my character. Please see the pictures below. I have tried switching servers, restarting the game and even verifying the game cache. Still no improvement. I'm stuck.

Weird.. I have the opposite problem.. all the object inside of buildings are invisible for me and my character gets blocky.. the only fix for my issue is temporary and thats changing the resolution to something other than what I have but that only fixes it for around 15min

I know this happens to me if I force anti-alias in the catalyst control panel, AMD GPU.

Funnily enough it just fixed itself. Weird or what?

No, not weird. Problems don't fix themselves, they only loose the reason to occour. That's a sign that it is not a driver / settings problem but rather something more dynamic, like memory load or cpu / gpu temperatures. In what exact situation did it solve itself ?

If it happens again play with vid settings one by one, id think texture would be a good one to try changing from A to B then back again, just to make the game reload everything :)

Well i just tried again after a couple of hours and it was fine. I doubt if it's memory or temperature. My computer never overheats and can more than handle Day z.

It's back again now though which is really annoying since this is the only free night I have to play the game. I know it's in alpha and all (and I'm not going to rage because only idiots forget the alpha part) but how come all these youtubers have perfect games while I get MASSIVE game breaking bugs every 20 minutes.

Its something on your pc not the game.  Thankfully I have neve had this concern.  I would look into gpu side.

I think I know the cause of it since the same thing happened both times. My internet cut out so I alt tabbed to check it. When I tried to re-enter the game it froze and I had to turn off my computer. Then I get that bug for about 2 hours after.
