first murder and fire fight.

Last night I was checking the deer stands in the army medical area south of Balota Airfield. As I exited my gear menu, which I apparently had tunnel vision on, I noticed a flare near the deer stand directly across from me. My heart jumped at the thought of someone getting so close without me noticing, despite that in was after midnight, and the thought that he could have already seen me and have the drop on me.

Fortunately, he had not seen me and was busy looting the deer stand. My heart pounded, I thought about calling out to see if he was friendly, but I realized that was futile. I aimed down the Kobra sight of my brand new AK-47 I found at the Airfield, I fired 3 rounds, he dropped. I was unsure of his condition, whether he was dead or had gone prone, I could see his thighs and legs from the ladder entrance of his dear stand. As I waited his inevitable death from loss of blood he stood up and took aim at me with an unknown firearm, I fired 2 more shots into his face, and had started my road to banditry.

Shortly after that event I decided to head into the nearby town to see if I could find more necessary survival supplies. I had made my way into the corner store without incident and proceeded to loot the building and found much of what I needed just in the back of the store. No point in not checking the front of the store, despite being low in backpack space, right? I was in the corner checking the loot pile when I thought I heard a foot step in the back room. I spun around and took a step towards the counter to get a line of sight on the doorway to the back room. He noticed me at the same time I noticed him. We both quickly took a few steps back, readying ourselves for the coming battle. I readied my G17 and leaned right to try and get a shot on him through doorway. There was no sight of him, it was very dark at this point, and I leaned back into my cover.

Trying to put myself on the other side of this engagement, I thought about what I would do, so, I slowly moved myself into the other corner, which provided safety from both the doorway and the window front. After about a minute a shotgun went off right next to me, I thought I was dead as my heart jumped into my throat at the sound of the blast and the shattering window.

Realizing I was unharmed and that he had shot at my original position, I switched to my AK Assault Rifle, which had recently acquired the taste of blood and was thirsty for more. Leaning out I put a few shots into the ground where I thought his shot originated. In the light of the muzzle flashes I could see that he had moved to relative safety, as there were now zombies running down the street towards him. Assuming he went back to the rear of the store to escape the incoming infected horde I readied my sights on the doorway once more. Two more shotgun blasts to my right! "How is he still there?!", was the first thought to cross my mind, followed by, "Fuck, those were really close that time!". This time I stepped out and let my AK have a talk with him, no pop shots, full-auto. After putting about 10-15 rounds into his general area, I was surprised that I didn't see his dead body being eaten by zombies.

He had crawled left just in time to escape death, but I know he was getting close, as I had hit him with a few of my AK rounds. This time he had to have gone back to the rear of the store, no doubts. I moved into my previous position just in time to see him step out of the doorway of the back room. I pulled the trigger, so did he. I woke up a few seconds later, vision blurred, bleeding profusely.

After quickly bandaging my wounds I made my way to his dead body, partly to confirm the kill, partly to loot his sorry corpse. At this point I was extremely low on blood and on the verge of passing out at any moment, who knew for how long. Zombies were starting to enter the store, to my dismay. It wouldn't take much to end up like my newest friend on the floor. I dispatched of the zombies and exited through the rear of the store. After making my way to the harbor, losing consciousness 3 times along the way, I stopped in a safe building and collected my thoughts. It was a rough night, but I was alive. One more step down that road.

(hope you dont mind how drawn out it is. wanted to make a story out of it kinda, what'd you think?)

Nice story and kills. Perhaps put it in paragraphs next time since it is much harder to read if it is all a big bundle of words.
