Dayz only using 1 cpu core

Recommended Posts

I have been playing dayz and it has come to my attention it only is using one core of my cpu out of 8. I have -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 in my launch options, is there anything i can do so the game can utilize more than one core?

amd fx8350 @4.5ghz
780ti oc
16gigs of ram

What are you using to monitor the load on your CPU? I have the same CPU and never had that issue.

Have you tried taking out those launchparameters?

Ill try taking out the launchparameters and see what happens. To monitor the load on my cpu i am using resource monitor. It shows that all other cores are barley being using. 90% for core 1 , and 10-20% for all other cores
