Arma 2 not being found by dayz commander!

Hello, so as you can tell by the title, my dayz commander can not seem to find arma 2

http://i.imgur.com/fKMNET4.png  This image shows the issue.  I can not validate my arma 2 but I can validate my arma 2 OA but it ends in an error because of one file it says.

 

All/any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advanced and have a good one!

 

Edit:  If you need/want any more information to help you figure out the problem, please do so!  I will be happy to get back to you A.S.A.P.

 

Also, I have opened/run both arma 2, and arma 2 OA

Don't use DayZCommander, it is obsolete and doesn't work with Steam-Servers.

Don't use dayzcommander, it does not report properly arma2 servers since the servers are announced using Steam protocol and a dedicated Steam query port.

Yeah I thought so too. Everyone told me, it stopped working, but it kept working fine. Then 2 weeks or so ago it started dying.

Now all my favs except for a few are shown offline, or with their IP as name and empty, and so on. Even connecting caused ArmA to crash.

 

DayZlauncher is actually not bad at all. You have to reinstall all sub-mods, and the search is much less comfortable than the commander's, but at least its working nicely.

The reason for this is that DayZCommander always had and still has its own database of chaced servers it used to be able to scan in the past to reduce workload. This way it doesn't have to scan on its own over and over and over again every single time and can instead rely on information it gathered at an earlier point.

 

But what DayZCommander can't do anymore with the switch to the Steam-Servers is to search for new servers that have been added since June / July. This is why it's not recommended using it at all anymore.
