Really high ping for all servers

Hey, recently installed a new HDD. However now I have a really high ping for all servers which didn't happen before on my previous HDD. My connection is the same, 3 MB/S so I don't really understand why this is happening.

Stop downloading porn..

Seriously though, A HDD shouldn't effect your ping..

Maybe as it's a new HDD you left a torrent or game updating/downloading?

Can you define " Really High Ping " ?

Every server is 100-300 and I get massive desync up to 65k at times.

Have you tried rebooting your modem/router? And how long has this been happening?
