Sitting next to fire and still hypothermic

Recommended Posts

So my guy is hypothermic and I made a mad dash to find some matches and firewood and made a fire. However, my guy is still dead red hypothermic even when I'm standing right ontop of the flame. It doesn't even say I'm warming up. Anyone help?

Are you sure that you're cold and not hot? Hypothermia (Cold) can easily be mistaken for Hyperthermia (Hot).

I think they fixed the building fire bug. In .50 no? Can anyone confirm? I'd look for patch notes but I'm at work!

If you're wet make sure to wring out your clothes.  It doesn't say you're warming up when you're hypothermic and next to a fire but you actually are.  Just sit by the fire and eat some beans.

The fire doesnt always register that you are there. Walk away and come back. You can aslo try putting the fire out and relighting it. Its a rather common problem. A fire isnt really nessecary right now though, just put warm clothes on and run for a bit and you should be warming up within minutes.
