therandomredstone 432 Posted November 23, 2014 OK *Sigh... When I play DayZ, I like to be very realistic, and I'm sure most of you guys do too! I love the idea of being able to "travel during day" with or without friends, and imagine, there is a full 24 hour server, and its almost nighttime, and before you head up in the hills to set up a campfire and stuff, you find a struggling player, imagine you take him up in the hills, set up camp, and its nighttime. You guys would sit there, talking to each other while the campfire crackles. And you are just there all night (considering you both have time on your hands). Or you could be snuggled up to the fire by yourself at nighttime, doesn't matter. My question is, are there any US Central, 24 hour day and night servers out there?If there are, then could you please put their IPs in the comments. Dawgstyl 51 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Restarts are done for server performance and to respawn some loot, as it stands right now there is no way to have a full 24hr server and be able to survive ie the lag or lack of loot. But I see this to become a real thing down the road and to have servers running a accelerated 24hr cycle(already tester back around .45) so it can be done but they are unable to do it right now.
