Blood Splatter Suggestion

Made a topic about Cannibalism recognition via blood splatter on clothes, hands, maybe face (Sometimes) etc...

But gave it a solid thought while taking a look of the comments people left on the said topic !

To make the story short, it would be awesome if actions could result in having some blood on your character / gear / tools when using them against a player (Red blood splatters or drips on clothes as example) an animal (Same blood color than human) AND zombies (Darker blood, kinda coagulated)

 

This would add an extra use of the ponds and wells (Wash clothes / player's face or hands and gear) and would add a lot of immersion and a little realistic aspect, i mean, imagine the interactions if you see a guy covered of blood, how paranoid some could get, could lead to many nice interactions, even capabilities of catching as example a guy who killed your friend when you arrived to late to meet with him (if melee) it would also help add a use to the clothes (If not near a pond / well are) you would probably have to switch clothes temporarly to hide the most blood and pick up gloves so people don't see that blood on your hands... 

In my opinion it would help a whole lot having a decent loot movement and would be cool to find some blood splattered clothes people left behind haha ! 

I'd like to see the community's feedback about that (Constructive comments only please and let's stay on topic)

If a dev, or someone of the team could also give his point of view by at least, telling if it's something that could be doable (As example) would be also appreciated !

This seems like a later game thing. But it could be built on with zombie blood catching in your mouth getting you infected etc. But again, later game suggestion. Due to it's early alpha things like things are most likely considered, but have very little work in them so far. But rest assured I can almost bet something along these lines would be in the game

Yeah, but in another side, even if that may be a suggestion that might be good later down the road, much faster people talk about it, if dev team see's that it's a demand that becomes popular they might introduce it in their work schedule...

We don't know the vision of the devs about later, only vague ideas, in my opinion, if you have a suggestion it is better to voice it and get the debate started to eventually see if it's worth being implemented !

I really like this Idea. Would be so cool and scary seeing a bloodstained survivor walking the road with an axe held high over his head. This would also give one more reason to get a camp. So you can get cleaned up ect after a big encounter with a survivor or zombie

The devs could really learn from legend Hideo Kojima. In Metal Gear Solid 2 and later games, shooting NPCs near walls and on unarmored parts of their body left a blood splatter consistent with with shot location and shooting NPCs equipped with dome helmets similar to motorcycle helmets in the head would splatter the visor with blood. Later in Metal Gear solid 3, killing NPCs by cutting their throats left a blood stain on their clothes as they bled out. I would really like to see a system like this adopted in DayZ.
