[RP] BambiLands - A roleplaying server!

[RP] BambiLands is a new private server started only a week ago, I have been changing the server settings and rules to suit a RPing server!

 

*Please not, this isn't a heavy RP server, we do allow KoS in certain areas if you want to PvP, e.g. Airfields/Military Bases*

 

Servers aim is to cater for RPing and some PvP, have fun and overall play the game the way it should be.

 

We have some basic rules that will change over time, please take note with limited admin tools we can only ban/kick/whitelist/password on the server.

 

1. Use only names/nicknames that make sense, any names with a clan tag, stupid names e.g. "LOLIHUNTZBAMBIS" etc etc will be kicked, if they carry on logging in with side name, they will get banned.

2. KoS only in military bases/airfields. You are allowed to kill people in other areas but RP wise you will be marked as a bandit but a true bandit holds a player up, in a city hopefully we have some sort of enforcement, they can protect the peace for others, this allows another form of RP.

3. Sniping is allowed but players are allowed to use voice coms to warn others and most likely be hunted down by others players in the area/server.

4. Reporting player abuse to admins, you need some form of proof, e.g. recording the said player being abusive.

5. Any form of racial, sexist or abusive language unless its in character, can lead to a kick or worse a ban.

6. Some form of voice coms to use in-game.

 

Rules to come at a later date

1. Being a member of the forums will be required when I set up a whitelist/password on the server but this won't be active until two months or so, due to forums are still being made.

2. Server Teamspeak will be required at some point, same as the forums whitelisting but due to a limited space on our TS, I will have that up and running by next week.

 

Future Features:

1. Factions (For now, we will be using forums to manage factions, each faction will have there own private forum area and TS channel)

2. Loadouts for factions and normal players.

3. Certain mods: Friendly/Your Faction ESP, were you can see were your friends or faction members are.

4. Roleplaying token system, were admins or faction leaders give tokens for RPing, these said tokens can be used for rewards or faction based items. e.g. custom buildings.

5. Faction/Clan/Gang territory fighting to claim areas as there bases or can be done via RP, even a mix of both. (certain areas will be offlimits e.g. North Airfield etc etc)

6. Server events, like hunger games or boxing championships.

 

This server is still a work in progress!

 

I'm also going to unlock the server in a hour, just doing something quickly to make sure its working, also this server resets every 2 hours on the dot GMT time (UK time)

The server had to be taken down the last few days to sort a few issues with restarts, the server now restarts every 2 hours with a 5 minute warning before it will restart!

 

So sorry for not being able to play on the server, I hope you will enjoy the server and remember to apply for whitelisting! :D
