Just opened steam when i got home from work. Dayz updated about 30mb patch. Now all the servers have red x's.

Have you opted into experimental? If so you won't be able to play on stable servers anymore (since they are different versions) unless you opt back out of that.

 

DayZ > Properties > Betas
