I have to reset my vid settings everytime I start Dayz

everytime I start Dayz my vid settings are changed, I have to go and turn off Vsync and a few other things. anyone else have this prob

How do you close the game? Do you normally close the game or do you force it of / does it crash?

The .cfg only saves reliably when the game is shut down in a normal fashion.

Same here, i change the .cfg file settings, once inside everything is fine until i attempt to change settings ingame. This gives me a really low resolution, i can barely make out any letters

Yes I shut it down normaly. I just logged in to double check and they were all reset to the unwanted position. I reset them to the prefered settings logged out normaly loged right back in and walla back to the unwanted settings
