What should I keep and what should I drop/trade?

Carrying an sks with an AKM seems a bit unneccessary, especially if you don't plan on engaging in long range engagements. If you did, a scoped Mosin would be the obvious choice.

Plus, hunting for a PSO will give you something to do.

I know it's pointless but I hope to trade some stuff and until that happens or I give up on finding a trade, I'll carry it around.

 

Speaking of trade, I set up a trade offer in the Trading Post tread and I'll share it here if anyone is interested. :)

hum, keep the AK, morphine, and trade everything else for a PSO-1, plastic buttstock and a rail handguard + bipod. you don't really need an amphibia S, it will aggro more zombies, fire axe is the king for silent dézombification.

 

akm/drum mag/PSO-1 is one of the strongest combo in this game : 2 center mass shots on a fully geared guy = kill or unconsious, effective until 400-500m, ridiculous firepower at close range...

I have more morphine than I'm offering to trade. Why the plastic buttstock? I though the wooden one was best? That's what WOBO said in his video I think. Bipods aren't in game currently. 

I have super laggy internet and 3/4 of melee fights end badly for me. I have to shoot or I will lose half my stuff. 

 

But yeah. You pretty much described what I'm doing.

i'm pretty sure plastic attachements are the best parts for AK, but maybe it changed in exp with the new wooden AK74 buttstock. that's true that biopods doesn"t spawn anymore, and with the 0.49 wipe, no hopes to see one, my bad, go with de plastic handguard then.
