therandomredstone 432 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Finding the perfect server in DayZ can be hard, if you don't know what you are looking for.I will give you guess some helpful tips to finding the perfect server for your wanted DayZ experience! First off, find out what type of players you want to be playing with, this is essential to using other methods in order to finding the perfect server: For example, lets say you want to join games where you wont get shot on sight. To finding the right server you can look at multiple things:1. Server name: The server name means a lot, if the name says "friendly only" then bandits will be crawling all through that server, no good.2.Number of players: Servers with low amounts of players often means the players in the session want to loot safely, and aren't looking to encounter others, (but they still could shoot you if you startle them!) (watch out for server hoppers at the airstrips!)3. Role-play? : There are servers out there that want players looking for realism, which means players that wont run at you naked whilst screaming. these servers have names like "realismrp" (actual server) and other names like "RPG players" .bandits don't necessarily target these servers because they respect the people that prefer realistic gaming (most bandits anyways)Hostile Servers:Hostile gamers play usually on large servers (40-40 sessions) if they aren't bandits, they are bambi's that will try to steal your things by whacking you in the head. (servers like these are always full of action but often gets you killed)If you see a server named "Friendly Only! Don't Kill" with max-players, don't join. You will end up dying. I Know I didn't cover every single helpful tip out there for picking the perfect server, but I hope I helped! If you have any helpful tips then share them with us below!
