[Private Shard] Team Defected DayZ Server

Hello all,
 
Team Defected now has a private 30 slot DayZ server. We will use whitelisting system and keep the server locked most of the time. This way our community members can play the game without possible hackers ruining their gaming experiences. However we will give 10 slots to those whom wants to play the game like its meant to be played.
 
If you are interested, visit our website www.teamdefected.com. Make an account and ask to be whitelisted. 
For security reasons, we will change the server password on weekly basis (and no, players do not need to be part of our community to play on our servers).
 
Perks of getting whitelisted:
Can participate in weekly events with prizes (i.e. games, gaming time for xbox etc).
Take part in daily sanctuary events, where players can meet up to trade items.
Play in a hack free server with active and friendly admins.
10 guaranteed slots on the server.
 
Conditions for whitelisting:
Players have to register in our forums www.teamdefected.com/forums
Members have to be in our TeamSpeak when they are playing on the server during the weekly events & sanctuary times.
Try to communicate before KoS. 
Players must keep PvP in allocated areas (i.e Electro).

Lol. I can guarantee few people will do this. If it's private there is no real point.there is nothing different between a private and public server only being that private wont let you keep your gear over servers.

I disagree with you. There is lots of points here. Just because it's private doesn't mean that server will not be full of players, or that you can't play the game like you could on public. You can do exact same things, with one exception: no hackers. We are giving 10 slots away for those who want to play on a kick ass server with great atmosphere.

Sounds like it would be worth a look, I am going to give your webpage a peek when I get off of work. Hope you still got a spot or 2 open by then. The ruleset doesn't really matter to me, I'm just looking to have a bit of fun and maybe meet some decent people.

Let me explain this one more time just in case you misunderstood me. Our players will fill out the 20 slots and since I know them and they do not use any exploits. It will be easy for me or the admins to take care of any hackers on the server. If any of our players saw an hacker, the hacker would be recognized pretty quickly and all I would have to do is copy that players GUID to the ban list and that would stop him from joining our server.

Do not misunderstand, you can KoS - but you must prepare to be hunted down. Electro is meant for PvP and usually those who wants to KoS goes there.

Well to be fair, our players usually squad up and battle out in Electro. If you take out one or two, the rest of the squad will be hunting you. Then there is players who are there to help out fresh spawn from bandits and so on forth.

Oh, that's grand then! I'd love to both be able to play it safe or to be hunted.

Well, have to say, it was a load of fun! We had an event in Elektro where I sneakily managed to steal a win and got myself a brand new Evolve! Recommend it to everyone.
