ThomasEyles 0 Posted October 26, 2014 Problem:- When Launching with any mod (DayZ 1.8.2) or (Epoch 1.0.5.1) i get the wait for host screen and after that i get kicked before i get to the lobby with the message : Session lost. it then brings me to the game menu. Solutions (tried but failed) i followed a guide on how to fix it:1) Make sure you've extracted all the right files into '[..gamedirectory]\@dayz\addons' and added "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" to the launch options (without the " ")2) Make sure your firewall isn't blocking DayZ (test by just disabling all firewalls).3) Port forward the appropriate ports (2302-2307 UDP I think)4) Open cmd and type in 'netsh winsock reset' (no commas), then restart your PC.5) Exit Steam, right click and select run as administrator. Then verify the Arma 2: OA game cache. (If one file gets replaced then this was your issue and the game is fixed)6) Run Arma 2: OA and select reinstall BattleEye anti-cheat.7) If you have just purchased Arma 2 / Arma 2: OA you must run Arma 2 before you start Combined Operations I Followed all the steps apart from the port forward one because ive been able to play before, also i have reinstalled arma2 and arma2 oa, no effect. Please help me urgently as i cant record or play/enjoy the game at the moment - Thanks Cthuluhoop
AmberHelios 2071 Posted October 26, 2014 hello, session lost is mostly due to these 2 reasons 1 you are connecting to a server with a different version of the mod/game2 battleye start up issues - closing steam and rerunning as admin verify the files and launch usually aids in this issue
ThomasEyles 0 Posted October 26, 2014 The server versions are the same, i can see it in dayz commander ill try #

ThomasEyles 0 Posted October 26, 2014 Any one else got a solution?
facoptere 180 Posted October 27, 2014 The other solution, which is not really a solution, is to suspect a bad internet link with to many dropped packets. ArmA2 netcode does not handle that very well a will close the connection.
