New Ammo Type:7.62 tokarev and the tt33 ppsh41 and the c96

Recommended Posts

So. Fucking. What.

That's a good thing.

Fuck this game's current caliber work. Lets get proper calibers and shit. 7.62x54R, not 7.62x51 for a mosin. Lets get 9x18 for the Makarov. Hey, guess what, guns like the Bizon use 9x18 too! Keep 9x19 for more modern 9mm weapons like the CZ75 and MP5. While you're at it, add every caliber possible. Make SEVERAL revolvers. Why only have one? .44, .357, .38, .32. Lets see them all. 12 gauge buckshot, slugs, yes, please. How about some .308? 30-06? Lets put them all in.

Every round possible should be in the game and every gun possible should be in the game. A post apocalyptic sandbox should have barely any limits in terms of what the hell you can find.

why not if you can find the proper ammunition next to the gun. othewise, it would turn dayz PVP into a big brawl of people axing each other because they can't find ammo fitting their guns.

realism and diversity are cool, but devs can't just drop hundred of guns/calibers into the game. it would take years and years of design, animation and sound works and it would be a nightmare to balance (attachements/ammo availability/spawn locations etc...). so no it won't make it into the game, that's not a realistic claim.

7.62 x 25 mm ammunition it's a great idea. Especially, that type ammo was very popular in the post soviet countries (Chernarus). If we see in game Mosin and SKS, 7.62 x 25 weapons must be compulsory

Is anybody on these forums also on the reddit underground? I ask that somebody please make a suggestion there. I saw chris torchia expressed interest in a c96 "red 9", however the 7.62 tok would be a better choice. It might even give us an excuse to use the weapons kit!
