I just died...

I've died plenty of times already, but the last 2 were significant.

1) I walked out of a barn into a horde of zombies, so I retreat back inside, head up to the first floor, readied my pistol, and then the barn exploded and I died.

2) I accidentally aggro'd a zombie in a field, because I only had guns and I was surrounded by zombies at the time, I had to run. I decided to make my stand in one of the large red buildings.

The step to enter this red building was one of those where it was too high to step up normally and the way to get up is to press V. So I pressed V, but instead of stepping up onto the step to enter the building, I phased into the floor, which caused me to die instantly.

Both times I had pretty much all the survival gear I needed, I was just raiding for better weapons and a map :(

I'm gonna take a short break. Need to cool off.

Still, that sucks, I've died a few times due to vaulting into buildings and dying. One time I was crawling under a tree at the NEAF looking for snipers, when nature decides it's hungry, so it stops me from moving, then suddenly breaks my legs and eats me.

It's never fun, you may feel a little cheated, just rest assured that it (probably) won't be like that forever, and move on. Just chalk it up a learning experience. I never try to vault into buildings anymore if it looks like there's any chance I'll just phase through the floor and die instead.

I died from the large explosion thing, and so did everyone on the server...its when a hacker sets off a nuke effect because their penis fell off in real life and they have no friends.

Those hackers tend to target servers with high population. When my barn exploded, I was in a low population server. I think there was barely 12 people in that server, so its unlikely that it was a hacker.

Also, open buildings such as barns and warehouses exploding has been a known bug for a while. It rarely happens, but it can still happen. I was just unlucky that time.

I understand if you have to take a break, my friends are the same way. Just saying, try not to let it bother you as much as you can, it'll happen sooner or later. Hopefully in time it won't bother you so much. It stopped bothering me pretty quickly :)

Chances are, the building was weak, and Zeds made it blow up, or someone decided to throw satchel charges in the barn.
